Kind of a Garage Find:
Bacon & Day Peerless Tenor banjo from the late '20's
and something of an odd model.
Generally these banjos would have come with a full resonator
and flange, but this one seems to have had some sort of close-fitting back;
maybe wooden like similar models from 1920 or so or one of those nickel-plated jobs.
Little Wonder-Style Tone-Ring.
New calf-skin head, modern Planet pegs, Kluson tailpiece, original Best-Tone armrest.
Neck is dinged a bit, but straight with low action. minor fret-wear.
