This appears to be a custom guitar.  It has the more desirable fixed-saddle bridge, I believe it to be original as it is obvious where the more common adj. bridge slot replaced, appears factory.  The double pickguard I believe is original as well:  the engraving is slightly different but the material is identical and that makes sense, as it would have been custom ordered; the treble side pickguard shows pick wear that has worn the engraving both in the pickguard engraving and the pearl dove engraving.   The guitar is in stunning condition, the only issue being a long back crack that has been repaired with some finish work in that area, it really doesn't photograph very well.  The guitar in general is in stunning condition, shiny and newish looking.  It is an excellent playing and sounding guitar.

No serial or FON #, but I'm going to suggest 1947 from the tuners, clear knobs and case.  A lovely guitar in a great hard case, it has some neck wear but is in splendid  condition otherwise, has a lovely deep tone and plays well.

Just a couple of pinhead size nicks on the top keeps this one from being mint.  Really quite remarkable unplayed condition.. Converted to Spanish style, very playable 1 7/8" nut.  Appears as if it had just left the factory.  Plays effortlessly and sounds amazing.  Without question the nicest one on the planet.  I'm calling this a 1940, there is no FON, it has a very lovely unusual  sunburst that I associate with the early 40's and a roundish neck that you see from that period.

This L5 features parallel bracing rather than 'X' bracing, they came both ways that year.  It is a fine player with the deep dark sound that is hoped for from this period.  It has been played, but is in very good shape, one tight short hairline crack in back and missing the easily replaceable pickguard, most of those nitrocellulose pickguards from that period disintegrate.    Really a great sounding guitar, comes with a nice '50's Gibson brown case.

Here we have a very nice LG-1 that features the early, much more desirable rectangular bridge;  original case.
This one has great  action and tone, plays wonderfully     Besides the  normal repaired pickguard crack , and a couple of big lacquer checks in the back, it is in fine shape, bright  and shiny. Really a nice one.

Excellent sounding and playing guitar.  It has a conspicuous top  center-seam re-glue and pick-guard crack.  1 3/4" nut width, plenty of saddle and needs nothing.   This is the only LG-2 I recall having the high grade brown pink-lined case.

This is the cleanest early Super 400 I have seen, the leather case is splendid, the plating on the engraved tuners and tailpiece is gorgeous. An amazing example from out of the closet. Early  1936 is the last of the desirable and rare small upper bout early model, this one has some features that suggest it was finished later:  It is parallel, rather than 'X' braced and has the larger F holes of a 1937 model.  In any case, a stunning and fabulous guitar.
